He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Shepard Broad College of Law in 2014 and specializes in trademark registration, international trademarks, copyright, licensing, and internet law, with a strong focus on new business development. His practice includes advising clients on copyright protection and litigation, domain name disputes, U.S. and international trademark protection, proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and litigation in both federal and state courts.
Mr. Perera also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Havana University Law School (1997) and began his career at the Cuban Industrial Property Office (OCPI) as Solicitor in the Legal Department.
